Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC)

Maestro University is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC), a recognized accrediting agency listed by the U.S. Department of Education. DEAC is also recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

Memberships and Affiliations

CHEA

The Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) is a non-profit organization that promotes self-regulation through accreditation. The Distance Education Accrediting Commission is recognized by CHEA.

National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA)

The National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (NC-SARA) is a voluntary regional framework for state oversight of postsecondary education. Maestro University is regulated by the UT-SARA region and its current membership status is noted as a Provisional Member following the December 2025 acquisition of the university by Masterschool. Maestro University is currently required to pause new US related enrollments while UT-SARA reviews the change of ownership and SARA eligibility requirements.
